Hey, hello! My name is Ali Shahid, and I recently started as a Front-end developer at TodayTomorrow! At TodayTomorrow, I’ll be working on various projects, mainly using programming languages and frameworks like React and Flutter.
I’m a big fan of Notion. It’s an awesome tool that I use both at work and at home. The ability to create your own templates makes it super customisable and perfectly adaptable to your personal needs.
I think the possibilities within the digital world are amazing. The fact that you can communicate with someone on the other side of the world in seconds, or access a world of information from a device that fits in your pocket, that still blows my mind.
I find it really annoying that these days you have to create an account for almost everything, just to read an article or download a file. No, I don’t want to make an account, just give me access!
I was born in Capelle aan den IJssel and lived in Rotterdam for the first five years of my life. After that, I moved to The Hague, where I still live today. My roots, however, are in Pakistan.
I’ve loved computers since I was a kid. I even hacked our home computer once just so I could play games on it! You should’ve seen the look on my sister’s face when she found out!
I’m kind of a jack of all trades! I know a lot about web development, a bit of design, and even some AI. At TodayTomorrow, though, I’ll mainly be focusing on the Front-end.
Ever since my childhood, I’ve been fascinated by the power of computers and the internet to make the world a better place. Through digital solutions, I hope to create a lasting, positive impact.
I have countless dreams! I’d love to run a marathon someday, visit every country in the world, and (believe it or not) travel to space one day!
I’m really into retro tech! I even collect cool vintage gadgets, like old iPods. 😄 I also write fiction in my free time, and one day I hope to publish a book filled with my own stories.
