Remind approached us with the idea of an app that provides insight into brain health. There was no existing product and no validated market yet, only a technology with clear potential. Within six months, we translated this idea into a concrete, testable MVP. We refined the value proposition, defined a feasible scope, and created a brand and app experience that inspires trust without making medical claims. From strategy to UX/UI and development, we built a working product that enabled Remind to enter the market immediately, test its viability, and lay the foundation for future growth.

Reassurance is just as important as accuracy.
Clear, smaller interactions increase engagement.
Progress over time matters more than a single score.

We use validated measurement tools developed by researchers and clinical experts from institutions such as the Amsterdam UMC, Maastricht University, and the University of Groningen. While the underlying technology is highly accurate, we deliberately avoid positioning ourselves as a medical authority. Instead, we designed an experience that feels like a smoke alarm: present in the background, without causing unnecessary concern, and notifying you in time when changes in your brain health occur.

At the core of the product are short cognitive exercises that measure patterns in memory, processing speed, and attention. Our challenge was to translate these scientifically grounded tasks into intuitive interactions, without compromising accuracy or reliability. The exercises are brief and focused, with clear instructions and an accessible design. The experience feels more like a friendly check-in than an exam, lightweight in use, yet grounded in science.

Behind the scenes, performance patterns are analyzed from both exercises and daily keyboard usage. This behavioral data is translated into a single, clear brain health score, supported by an easy-to-understand trend overview. Rather than presenting raw data, we opted for a simple feedback model that provides insight without overwhelming the user. Users see one clear indicator: their brain age. The focus is not on a single measurement, but on patterns over time, creating a form of continuous monitoring that is accessible yet scientifically grounded.

From the very beginning, we worked as one team and it truly felt that way. As a start-up, your perspective is constantly evolving, and the ability to move quickly is essential. That only works when you collaborate closely and iterate fast. The process was intense and at times challenging, but the result is a product we both feel ownership of, and are proud of.
