When it comes to running, most people have a certain goal in mind. Training towards it was often supported by fixed training schedules. With Vortza you can finally train in a way that adapts to your ever changing agenda and availibility. We worked together from the very first start to create an app that services runners by bringing complex data and advanced training metrics to a simple interface, focussed on reaching your running goal.

Runners with a goal
A training schedule that adapts to your needs and possibilities really helps
Providing only the most relevant information helps runners to focus
Seeing actual progression towards a goal motivates people
Vortza helps you to set a realistic yet ambitious goal with recommendations based on your running history, preferences and availability. Based on more then 10 years of data processing, the app gives a highly accurate status of your fitness level and the distance to your goal. Translating the rich data into the app meant bringing focus to only what matters at the moment you use the app: before and after your training.
Whether you swim, cycle, play tennis or train at an athletics club, Vortza takes these activities into account when adjusting your next training. Errors in sensor data are cleaned to make correct calculations. In the application you won’t experience any of the complexity of this. With an easy way of rating trainings, we help users to provide input in order to determine the correct training impact offer the next training to stay on target.
Connecting the app to an existing backend was one of the challenges in development. Working together with a data scientist and machine learning specialist, helped us to focus on the essential features of the app. We’ve achieved to transfer the complexity of the backend into a friendly interface for athletes of all levels.
As Vortza, we really liked the atmosphere at TodayTomorrow. Their way of work aligned perfectly with the phase and mentality we have. This helped us make decisions and iteratively improve our MVP in a constructive process. Besides, their creative minds combined our story and vision in a flawless UX and UI. We still get compliments from our users who enjoy the simplicity and freshness of the Vortza app
